Wee Stitch

The sewing chatelaine keeps the needleworker's tools at hand by attaching them to a ribbon worn around the neck, or with a clasp to attach to the needleworker's clothing.  The chatelaine depicted here features a scissors sheath, needlebook, and a heartshaped pincushion.  Generally, needles were stored inside the needlebook, but you may wish to add a gold needle to the front of your needlebook, as shown in the photograph.

Model stitched on 32 count English Rose linen over 2 threads using 2 strands Anchor floss.
