Oriental Series - "Stitchery"

Calm lines, quiet detail, and a touch of Zen. This slim stitchery series is designed for slow moments and deep breaths — perfect when you want a mindful make without the fuss.

Pattern only: Each pack includes a pre-printed stitchery centre plus two coordinating batik borders for framing the panel.

Finished stitchery size: approx. 3½" × 9½" (9 × 24 cm). Lovely as a narrow wall hanging, framed piece, or worked into a runner.

What’s included: Pre-printed stitchery + fabric for borders (inner and outer). Threads, needle, hoop, and frame are not included.

Note: The sample uses traditional DMC stranded cotton in Navy and Red. You can also tint the pre-printed fabric with fabric paints for a soft watercolour effect.

The four designs

N20 — Japanese Crane: Moonlight, blossom, and graceful cranes in flight and at rest. Quiet lines that feel like a gentle exhale.

N21 — Koi: Two koi drifting past each other with petals and stars. A soothing, meditative outline that’s lovely in redwork.

N22 — Samurai: Poised and balanced — crisp armour lines, steady stance. A mindful outline with a strong, classic look in navy.

N23 — Dragon: A coiled dragon with flowing scales and energy to spare. Bold curves that stitch beautifully in striking red.

Finishing tip: Our sample shows a slim inner border and a wider outer border for a neat framed look. Lifestyle photos may show an artist’s mock-up to help you picture the finish and are labelled “Artist impression – finished product”.
