Japanese motifs for colourful or traditional sashiko

Explore Japanese-inspired designs with this sashiko collection by Little Stab Designs. Butterfly koi, lotus flowers, plum blossoms, a geisha-inspired figure and traditional Seven Treasures patterns feature across square panels and table runners.

Each design is pre-printed on the fabric, ready to follow with your stitching. Choose coloured threads to highlight the flowers, fish and decorative details, or stitch in traditional Japanese style with white thread on indigo.

Use individual panels for cushions, wall hangings and quilt blocks, or combine complementary designs into a larger project. The runner panels suit table linen and decorative wall hangings, while the large JP07 panel offers a centrepiece for a quilt or wall display.

JP01–JP04 measure 33 × 33 cm. The JP05 runner measures 93.3 × 14 cm, and JP06 measures 72.5 × 14 cm. The large JP07 panel measures 100 × 100 cm.

All seven designs are available in Indigo, Green and Cherry Red.
