Hill & Dales by D Ferguson

Hills and Dales is a very versatile pattern.  With so much texture it looks fabulous knitted in just one colour, while also lending itself to being audaciously colourful.  It is easy to knit as only knit and purl stitches are involved.  The knitted panels are joined by the three needle join-up method.  Just two colourways are shown here.

Large Blanket, 160cms x 135cms - 3 colours & 8 panels

Small Blanket, 133cm x 90cm - 8 colours x 5 panels

Yarn:

Small Blanket - 8 Ply/DK, 8 Colours, 1000gms total

Large Blanket - 8 Ply/DK 1200gms Light Blue, 400gms Teal, 400gms Gold

 

This pattern is written for the large blanket using three colours
