Golden Wattle

Wattle is the floral emblem for Australia. Create your own patriotic rug.

• The spray of wattle is set in a frame of Moss Stitch.
• The rug is knitted in three panels which are then sewn together.
• The 3D effect is created with bobbles blossoms and twisted stitch for the leaves.
• A Garter Stitch border completes the rug.

The rug measures 135cm x 90cm. It uses 1200g of 12 ply yarn (Bulky USA, Chunky UK) and is knitted on 6mm needles.
