Florence Broadhurst Japanese Floral Tapestry Kit

The Florence Broadhurst Japanese Floral Tapestry Kit is a classic design translated into tapestry, featuring one of Broadhurst’s most recognisable and enduring patterns. Inspired by traditional Japanese floral motifs, this design balances stylised blooms with strong graphic structure, making it equally suited to wall display or a statement cushion.

This complete kit is designed for intermediate stitchers and includes a 10-count double mesh colour-printed canvas, tapestry wool, needle, and clear stitching instructions. The generous 40 × 40 cm finished size allows the intricate pattern to shine without overwhelming the stitcher.

‘Japanese Floral’ is one of Florence Broadhurst’s most famous designs and was selected as a hero design for the Australian Museum of Design’s digital display at Customs House during Vivid Sydney 2023. Each kit includes an Australian Museum of Design Certificate of Authenticity, confirming its provenance.
