    Please note all original designs taught remain the property of the teachers and Crafty Frog.  Whilst we are happy for you to make and give items taught in our classes, you must ask permission of the teachers before selling completed items and patterns or being paid to teach others.

    If you are interested in doing a class, but can’t see it on the list, or it’s not on the day best suited to you, we will try to accommodate, so please ask.  Equally if you have a group of friends wanting to do a class together, let me know and we should be able to organise something to suit!

    Samples of all the class projects are on display in the shop – if you can’t find them, again, just ask!

    It is essential you pre-book for all classes as they tend to fill very quickly!  A deposit of 50% of the total class cost is required to secure your place.  If Crafty Frog cancel a class, your deposit will be either refunded, or transferred to another class.  If, however, you cancel or do not turn up to a class and a replacement is not able to be found, you will forfeit your deposit!

    Class Costs:  $35 for 3 hours unless otherwise advised.  This cost is exclusive of class requirements, again unless otherwise advised

    Basic Beading with Lexie
    Date:  Monday 31 August                                 Time:  10am-1pm                             
    All the basics and more!  Learn how to make bracelets, necklaces and earrings, attach findings and much more.

    Basic Needle Felting with Ruth
    Dates:  Wednesday 02 September OR Saturday 03 October OR Friday 09 October                             Time:  10am-1pm
    Learn the techniques of this amazing craft whilst completing a scarf and journal cover (time permitting).

    ABC’s of Crochet with Caroll Pichelmann
    Dates:  Thursday 3 & 17 September OR Saturday 12 & 26 September                   Time:  10am-1pm              Cost:  $70
    Grab your balls of yarn, any crochet hooks you may have laying around and come and play.    Caroll will not only teach you to crochet, but to create a bag or a garment from your scraps of yarn.  This class is bound to fill up quickly, so don’t delay!!!!  Don’t have crochet hooks or yarn, don’t worry – there’s stacks to chose from at the shop.

    Embroidery with Belinda
    Dates:  Friday 04 OR Tuesday 15 September OR Thursday 01 October                                 Time:  10am – 1pm
    You chose the project from one of many on display or bring one along.  Whether you want to do a basic introduction/refresher or advanced course in Candlewicking, Silk Ribbon Embroidery, Embellished Prints, Smocking, Wool Embroidery or more, then this is the class for you.  Do one or all of the classes at $35 per 3 hour class – excluding kits.

    Basic Gold work Initial with Pat
    Dates:  Tuesdays 8 & 22 September OR Saturday 10 & 24 October        Times:  10am-1pm             Cost:  $70
    Let Pat guide you through the wonders of Gold work and produce your own initial, or a gift for a friend.

    Brick stitch with Lexie
    Date:  Wednesday 09 September                     Time:  10am-1pm
    Chose one of Lexie’s many projects to make while learning this basic beading technique.

    Learn to Cross Stitch with Laura
    Date:  Friday 11 September OR Thursday 22 October                                Time:  10m-1pm 
    Whether you’re a complete beginner, or just wanting to iron out a few problems, Laura will guide you through step by step.

    Learn to Loom Bead with Christina
    Date:  Saturday 19 September                         Time:  10am – 1pm                           Cost:  $40 includes pattern
    Learn to use a bead loom and create either a bracelet or bookmark – chose from one of Christina’s many designs.  Please note you must bring your own loom to this class.  (Looms are available for purchase at the shop)

    Creative Tapestry with Helen
    Dates:  Saturday 24 October, OR 07 November, OR 05 December          Time:  1.30-3.30pm     Cost:  $20 per class
    Bring your tapestry along and be guided and taught by Helen who is an accredited teacher.

    Peyote Stitch Project with Lexie
    Date:  Monday 21 September                          Time:  10am-1pm
    Chose from one of Lexie’s many fabulous Peyote designs including bracelets, brooches, earrings or needle cases. 

    Advanced Needle felting with Ruth
    Date:  Wednesday 23 September, Friday 23 October OR Saturday 21 November                                Time:  10am-1pm
    After exploring the basics use your new found skills to create a vessel, a bag, or even slippers.

    KidzKlub with Jenny and Amanda
    Dates:  Saturday 26 September, 31 October, 28 November                       Time:  1.30-3.30pm           Cost:  $16.50
    Kidz will be individually guided through projects from beading to needlework and beyond.  Encouraging creativity, and design whilst teaching the basics of many crafts – great fun for kids from ages 5 to 15.

    Chose from Lexie’s designs a project you would like to work on whilst learning this technique.

    Bead Embellished Biscornu with Lexie

    Use basic cross stitch and bead embellishment techniques to complete this shapely pin or brooch cushion.

    Wire Knitted Bracelet or Necklace with Julie

    Create a stunning knitted bracelet or necklace using an assortment of beads and a reel of wire!

    Beaded Christmas Balls with Lexie

    Create this year’s decorations and next year’s heirlooms

    CLASS TERMS & CONDITIONS

    A deposit of 50% must be paid at the time of booking any classes to secure your place.   Payment can either be made in person or over the phone by using MasterCard, Bankcard, Visa or Amex.   If class numbers are insufficient we reserve the right to cancel the class.   If Crafty Frog cancels a class your deposit will be refunded, transferred as a deposit to another class or held as a credit on shop stock.   We are unable to refund your deposit if you do not attend a class.    Whilst every effort is made to “make-up” for classes you have missed this is not always possible and is not the responsibility of Crafty Frog.
